PAINTING IS THIRSTY WORK!

Posted by Picasa When you're stuck, painting in your enormous studio (3' x 3'), you can soon knock up a bit of a thirst. OK, so this is isn't my studio after all!
Here is another project from the Centre for Alternative Technology. This, along with a number of other projects, aim to show how much waste we produce each year and offers one suggestion for recycling. Perhaps 'cycling' wouldn't be a good idea after this much drinking.

In response to my massive fan mail: The picture above shows the roof of a covered tunnel made from USED wine bottles. You are looking at the outside of the tunnel. The inside looks like a stained glass window, with hundreds of small highly coloured circles bringing light into the dark space.

NOW! - PAY ATTENTION

Posted by Picasa Sorry to my 'fan' for a quiet patch on the blog - we are on the move again.
This beautiful creature was on duty at the Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth.
We set out from Drenewydd on a beautiful sunny morning, knowing that it can be colder in certain micro-climates of this wonderful land of Wales. The shock was it was absolutely FREEZING!!!!!!
The centre seems to be going through quite a bit of change, with lots of building work, so, not the most attractive place at this moment.
