DOLGELLAU - Cwrs Cymraeg

Today we are in the ancient Welsh town of
Dolgellau (Doll-Gethhh-Eye).
We have been coming here now for a number of years to join with other people who like us are trying to gain some extra help in learning the Welsh language. It is a bit like a wriggly worm in as much as as soon as you think you have grasped one the peculiarities of the language, it changes it shape once more. It is a wonderful challenge, knowing that it is possible to hold a conversation after a time, and then find that a few miles down the road you may find a quiet different form of Welsh with a different sound. Learners of Welsh seem to be very interesting people with a lot of other interests, especially in the national culture.
