At present the Eisteddfod moves each year from North to South to North Wales. This year was the turn of Denbigh in the Northern part of Wales. There is so much to see around the grounds, but the serious stuff happens in the massive marques of various kinds. The grand events happen in the Pink Tent (there is a story about this that I have forgotten). The picture below shows the kind of atmosphere in the showground, the police presence is very small and exceptionally friendly. For those who doubt Welsh is a real living language .... come to the show!

Sitting still, just looking. Aberystwyth is always lively but never over crowded, plenty of space for everyone.
On this day during half term holidays there were University rowing teams in the sea, wind foils, swimmers, walkers, paddlers and much more. Saint Michael's church had a large congregation again. All in all - a great day out.
Hi folks - as some of you will know, we have been trying to move house for some three and a half years now. At this moment I have stopped blogging about my painting because I have stopped painting. We do not want to fill our small house with paintings that are unlikely to sell where we are hoping to move to. I paint very quickly and so produce a lot of work. So at this moment all my creative energies are going into looking at my old photos and bringing them back to life through editing. I am really enjoying the site JUX and now have a free personal account with them. You will be able to see my new focus by going to: http:// www.artistinwales.jux.com
