Another reason NOT TO COME TO MID WEST WALES. The air is clean - the scenery is free - you can walk all the way around the boundaries of Wales. It probably rains every day. The people are horrible and they speak a strange language.

Having fun using new software.
This is a view from the Drovers Track overlooking Drenewydd, Powys Mid Wales. The overlay is peeling paint.

Walk from Aberaeron to Gilfach Yr Halen

Walk from Aberaeron to Gilfach Yr Halen.
All Welsh place names beginning with Aber mean 'the mouth of .... XYZ river'. Gilfach Yr Halen means 'Salt Creek/inlet'
A great walk - fed by big fat juicy blackberries all the way to overcome the very high humidity of 95%.

Hidden behind the main street in Llanon - Ceredigion - Mid West Wales is the ruin of a Tudor house. In this same street or area is the supposed home of Non, the mother of the Welsh Patron Saint David.

Battered by wind, rain and wild winds, Aberystwyth stands firm bathed in gorgeous sun. Most folk coming to stay in Aber stay a lot longer than they thought. Students give up good London salaries to return to its charm.
